The Board of Directors invites you to PALCUS’s 15th Annual Leadership awards and 20th Anniversary Gala on November 12, 2011. This year’s black tie event will be held at the National Harbor, overlooking the scenic Potomac River in Prince George’s County Maryland and Old Town Alexandria. This is an annual event which serves to recognize Portuguese-Americans for their accomplishments in the areas of business, entertainment, government, medicine, public service, art and academia. This occasion also offers the Portuguese community an outstanding social event, professional networking opportunities, an impressive silent auction and of course great camaraderie. This year’s Gala is on a holiday weekend to give you more time to relax and have fun. Visit the Nation’s Capital and partake of the activities that are associated with the PALCUS Gala and Annual Meeting. National Harbor is only fifteen minutes from downtown Washington, DC and steps from the sprawling Gaylord National convention and resort center. It’s only a few Metro stops to the Smithsonian, the Mall, Congress and monuments, and you can cruise into Georgetown or Old Town Alexandria aboard a water taxi from National Harbor.
